In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!
The first video is an arrangement of “He Mele Lāhui Hawai’i” for two oboes, oboe d’amour, two bassoons and contra-bassoon. The title translates to “Song of the Hawaiian Nation” and was composed by Liliʻuokalani, Queen of the Hawaiian Islands, in 1866.
